Hi i was wondering what peoples opinion is about dees exhaust heard mixed opinions about them, are the powerflow systems they make of a high standard or would i be best going somewhere else??
My exhaust fell off one day on the way into work, called in and they jacked it up and had a look for me, didnt charge anything and seemed to be sound enough people to deal with...
Think they done my MG's exhaust. Was fine. Sounded good and looked well too.
They done a Vectra of mine though (1st one). Thing kept popping off the hangars and was a right ballache, they also didn't have the pipe in stock that I pre-ordered so had to take whatever they had (took the day off work for it). Looked OK but not what I really really wanted, but partly my fault for saying that I'd take it anyway.
I'd probably get another though, materials seemed good quality and was cheaper than stock item.
cheers lads just mate had one done that ended up rattling lose and rubbing on his spliter and bumper, they adjusted it but ended up doing the same again?
no but after reading the posts it sounds like they arent actually proper performance exhausts just something to look and sound good.im not dissing them but how come exhuast companies spend thousands working exhaust flows and getting the most power from them as possible when some fella called fred can do it in an hour or 2?surely would that not put big exhaust companies out of business?
Ive had mixed experiences. depends who you get. went in one day to ask about a custom exhaust for my kitcar and I reckon the dude was off his face or something. I was looking a generic silencer and some custom piping he just didnt get it.
The person who owned my GTV before me had the exhaust done there and I'm not terribly impressed! Not a great tailpipe fit and I don't like the noise from it!
Cost him £270 too
I have had a few exhausts done in the past by them and couldnt fault it, but they were all fairly normal cars and I was just after the style and sound, now I buy exhausts for performance I'd be more inclined to go with a specialist exhaust for the car
Yup low counter and his hand is always out.
Mine was a 6x4 oval I went only a tad larger than the standard bore cat back by 1/4" and cost 325, done in a day and havent had 1 minutes trouble from it yet and dont see it becoming a problem even with the coilovers fitted just afterwards.
