I've used them a couple of times in the past and both jobs were 100%. The only problem is getting the right noise, my first one was way too quiet and the second was the opposite and a pain on the motorway but the work itself was top notch.

Had one on my Escort years ago. When I lowered the car and it rubbed on the rear beam, took it down, and the guys took about 3/4 of the piping off, and read adjusted it so it would fit perfectly.

Remember looking around the welds at the time and mine where quite neat when the car was on the ramp, rather nice bunch of blokes.

I was down with them last week gettin my centre box replaced with a straight pipe because it was catchin on absolutely everything.

They are a nice bunch of blokes indeed, kept their cool with me even after half an hour of trying to get my car on the lift :confounded: but they did a great job and arent hard to pay either (y)

well i was happy at the start, but!!!!!got the vtis mb6 done. i supplied a new stainless remus backbox from graham goode:p
the standard centre system was bolloxed ,obsolite and couldnt be got from anywhere:sob:
my only option was to have a centre system made(y) (y)
dee "TALKED" me into having a down pipe back, stainless, straight through, no cat ,to the remus^o) asked him about emossions he said it would be pass ok. ended up i said yeh ok.price £110+vat which i was well pleased with:p

was hitting the rear floor pan on the way home (5.30pm on a fri)

foned 1st thing sat morning, yeh no problem bring it back.(y) i was there at 9.30am on sat morn.

BUT on the fri nite i spoke to a mate who has his own garage as i was worried about emmisions as the cat was gone!!! he says, where is it?dees have it.he says u get £50 from the scrap man for ANY cat as they are sent away and refurbished as recon and sold in motor factors ect

back at 9.30am sat morning to get the clearence sorted which they did,i asked him for the cat (that they removed at 5pm/5.30pm on the fri t time),sorry the scrap man took it last night!!!!!!!!!!!

f--kin likely story!!!! if any of these exhaust boys talk you into removing your cat make sure you take it home with you:mad:   ,work the sums out.apparently its common knowledge now that all exhaust places do this if your cat is bolloxed or you do away with it:mad:

on the plus side, it made a BIG improvment on the honda, wether it was the the combination with the remus i dont know. was REALLY loud for a few weeks, as in ,ear drum bursting, but settled to a nice note.

i felt they pulled a stroke on me ref the getting rid of the cat when they are gettin money for it.

ie 110 plus vat minus 50!!!!!

Did one for me a while back. Hitting and clanking off an old bracket they forgot to take off. Got it sorted the next day and was grand for another year or so till i sold the car.

Lmao so your 'minor repair' involved you having to leave your car? I no anytime I have had anything small dont they get my car on the ramp and do it there and then.

When you started it you heard no difference?

Don't think a cat removal would cause such bad mpg either.

Really needed to bump this thread ? Or better yet join rms search for here and post that.

You work for another company ?

after an mot (emissions test A ok) took my car to dee's exhausts for a minor repair to the exhaust.......... after that noticed the petrol consumption almost doubled........ took it to another mechanic i trust who told me the catalytic converter had suddenly gone 'missing', they're worth at least £50........draw your own conclusions. Apparentley its not the first time someone has mysteriously 'lost' their cat. after a trip to his garage.

why make up a username just to make a post about bad experience you've had with a company. To be fair, a cat is worth £50 MAX for scrap, I'd say it would have cost him nearly that for the time and materials to make a decat and fit it to your car, so he could 'steal' your cat. I highly doubt it happened mate... Also your fuel consumption wouldn't 'double', it wouldnt even be noticable the difference, so thats crap too.

They did work for me when I had my fiesta just putting a back box on. When I came to collect the car the box was hanging with about a 2 inch space below the bumper. The fella told me that was the only was it could be done. I knew it wasn't and asked to speak to the boss man who got the guys to fix it up properly for me. I think they thought I wouldn't no any better cause I'm a girl. Saying that, in the end I was happy with the job they did and have had work done by them since

Thanks guys couldn't ring there and wasn't sure if I remembered correctly or not. One of the brackets has come away from my back box so hoping it can be fixed cheaply to save me a new one!

Dee is a top bloke and has built multiple exhausts for me over the years, long before the powerflow franchise too....make sure your requirements and expectations are clear and if you aren't happy, give him a call. Had 3 powerflow exhausts from him in recent years with no issues and used him recently to replace std exhaust with performance exhaust on my scooby, no issue, not hard to pay either.

Centre pipe and rear muffler delete with power flow tip all built by dees, great work no problems! 10/10 will use again. Always take the removed boxes and stuff home with me in the boot so can be put back to standard for next owner if wanted! No point giving it to them, will be worth more to you than leaving it behind!!

Sorted out a few broken mounts for me cheaply one time and they lasted 18 months without issue and they seemed pretty dead on.
