Yup, the weld itself is maybe only 2mm wide so way smaller than anything you could ever do with MIG

Some lovely welds here. Iv always been tempted to buy a tig welder. Iv been using migs for years now but would love to get good on a tig.

Their customer service is great and I am seriously considering selling my SIP MIG to buy one of their Migs so all my stuff matches
you pay a little more from them for a modified chinese welder than you will off ebay.
They also do shop soiled seconds a little cheaper again.
In short, a british company that take chinese welders and throw away the sh*t bits, add in some quality components to make them reliable and away you go.
When i was deciding which welder to go for I wasn;t able to find a single bad word from owners of R-Tech stuff. Only naysayers were those who were fortunate enough to be running Lincoln or Miller welders and most of those were owned by their employers, not them. Plenty of boys on the welding forums have them as their go-to equipment at home aswell. My experience has been fantastic so far with them hence willing to change my SIP aswell

Here's my first proper go at alloy welding... IMO far harder (for me anyway) than tig welding steel. Friend Bob asked for the tanks onto his radiator so here they are, plus used the wrong electrode for one of the fittings so had to redo it with the proper electrode
