There used to be a Lada with a Lotus twin cam around Belfast approx 25+ years ago, it looked completely standard.

It does, but the side stips on ours takes your eye away from all the dents, scratches and dodgy paint!

Oh and by the way, it passed by the slightest of margins. The minimum parking brake efficiency allowed is 16%....you can guess what the result was!

TBH this thread is more interesting than the one on edition38. All your mans done is buy a pretty clean car, fit a set of wheels, new steering wheel and lowered it........... and it took him near two years to do it
